Larger Marimo are heavier and denser than mini sizes, so they may remain at the bottom instead of floating. Floating is not required for a healthy Marimo. Gentle rolling during water changes helps support an even, rounded form.

Keep Marimo in cool, clean water with indirect light. Change the water every 1–2 weeks and avoid direct heat or prolonged strong sunlight. Gently rinse and roll the Marimo when changing the water.
